In short: we collect only what we need to run your workshop seat. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
To know which of our posts and ads work, your browser remembers for 30 days where you first came from (for example "Instagram") and, if you register, we store that with your booking along with your device type (phone or computer). If we run ads on Instagram, Facebook or Google, we may use their measurement tags (Meta Pixel, Google tag) to count visits, sign-ups and payments. These services have their own privacy policies.
We also keep anonymous counts of how many people visit the page and reach each step (for example "12 visits from Instagram today"). These counts contain no names, numbers, IP addresses or cookies.
We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password. Payments are handled securely by Razorpay; we only receive whether the payment succeeded and its reference.
Student portal: when you use the student portal we record, on our server, what you do there: logins and failed logins, the pages, videos and documents you open, how much of each video you watch, blocked actions (such as copy, print or screenshot keys), your device and browser, and your IP address. We use this to protect the course material from sharing, to keep your account safe, and to see which lessons help. Your name, number and booking reference are shown as a watermark on course videos and pages. Your portal password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Only the LINA Apps team. We use trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf: Supabase (secure database and student portal server), Razorpay (payments), Resend (emails), Hostinger (website hosting), WhatsApp (messages), Zoom (live sessions) and YouTube (playing class videos inside the portal). When you join a workshop WhatsApp group, other members can see your name and number. We never sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
We keep your details while you are a learner and for up to 2 years after your batch, or longer only where tax or accounting law requires it for payment records. After that we delete it.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent for messages. Write to hello@linaapps.in or WhatsApp +91 78933 39960. We reply within 7 working days.
Delete your account yourself: in the app or student portal, go to Account → Delete my account. Your login, progress and activity history are deleted immediately and your booking details within 30 days. Full details: How to delete your account.
Registrations are stored in a protected database. The public website can add a registration but cannot read anyone's details. Only our admin team can view them after signing in. Course files sit in a private store and open only through personal links that expire within minutes; each account works on at most 2 devices. All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, repeated wrong passwords lock the account, and our admin team signs in with two-step verification.
The app opens your student portal; it collects the same data as the portal described above and nothing more. It has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking tools. It asks only for internet access, permission to show notifications (class reminders; you can turn them off), and, only if you switch it on, your phone's fingerprint or face lock to open the app. Your fingerprint or face data never leaves your phone and is never seen by us. The app does not read your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone. Lessons you save offline stay inside the app on your phone and are removed when you log out. To protect course material, the app blocks screenshots and screen recording. Your login stays only on your phone and is never included in phone backups.
